I walked, I walk, we were there together my friend and I. Our eldest children reigned the trail whilst my youngest lounged blissfully in his stroller and her girl slept peacefully. Their hair flaxen and carefree, smiles strong and eyes bright against the saturated British Columbian colours. We were all drunken on the delightful summeriness of it all. I felt we may be in a Bergman film.
